Hey, y’all! Did you know that you can stay in a teepee – with all of the modern conveniences – right here in Kentucky? Well, my friends, you can stay in a Kentucky Teepee at the Horse Cave KOA, located in one of my favorite communities in the Commonwealth: Hart County, KY. These teepees are not your average accommodation – a stay here will surely be an experience you will never forget. It’s undoubtedly my most unique stay to date in Kentucky!

Stay In A Kentucky Teepee: Horse Cave KOA
This post is in partnership with Horse Cave/Hart County Tourist Commission. Thank you all for supporting those that make Notable Kentucky possible. All opinions expressed are my own.

The teepees at the Horse Cave KOA are not your average teepees – or what you’d expect. They will surpass all of your expectations! Located just past the gorgeous treehouses, the teepees are the newest of the property’s lodging options. As you descend to the teepee, you walk through a door to see stunning wood walls, two floors, and many modern amenities.

Each teepee has a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom.
In addition, there are plenty of spaces to enjoy the company of others – from the cozy living room inside to the two-tiered deck outside. The deck has outdoor furniture and a grill – you’ll love it!

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Cave Country, enjoy the conveniences of a stay at the Horse Cave KOA: hot showers, laundry facilities, camping cabins, treehouses, Conestoga wagon rentals, pull-thru RV sites, a swimming pool, mini golf, fishing, and much more!

About Hart County
Hart County, located in South Central Kentucky, lies predominately within the central portion of the Pennyroyal region of the state. Nolin River forms the county’s western boundary, and the Green River winds through the center. Hart County contains five of Kentucky’s ten largest springs, including Gorin Mill Spring, the largest in the state. Further, they are home to world-famous Hidden River Cave, part of Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky Down Under, and an award-winning trail system.
Kentucky first, forever, and always.
